This policy explains what information is processed when you use EasyDeviceTest (easydevicetest.com). In short: the tests run in your browser, and your microphone audio, camera video and key presses never leave your device.

1. Device tests

When you use a test, your browser asks for permission to use the microphone or camera. The audio and video are processed locally on your device to show levels, images and technical data. They are not recorded on our servers, sent to third parties or stored. Optional recordings and photos stay in your browser’s memory unless you choose to download them.

2. Information collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time) for security and to keep the service running. These logs are kept for a limited time.

If you close the language suggestion, we store that preference in your browser’s local storage. It is not used for tracking.

3. Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data and to object to its processing. Because we don’t store test data, there’s usually nothing to delete. For advertising data, use the Google options above or contact us.

5. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

6. Terms of use

• The tools are provided free of charge, “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Results depend on your browser, device and settings and are for information only.
• Use the sound test at a safe volume. We are not responsible for damage to hearing or equipment caused by excessive volume.
• You may not copy the site, abuse it or use it for unlawful purposes.
